Tracking system with VLC for underground mine using multi-agent systems

In this paper we present a system description and a classification of agents for locating people inside underground mines, using Visible Light Communication. We propose a model of agents that can be used in real applications and simulations of smart environments, considering the environment, sensors, actuators, people and machine. This proposition is discussed, using as an example a previous work that locates people with VLC in underground mines. A prototype with JADEX is built to work with a Raspberry Pi as a feasible platform to work with VLC devices.
