Research on imaging method of magneto-acoustic microscopy based on acousticlens

Magneto-acoustic tomography (MAT) is a new electrical impedance tomography(EIT), which combines high contrast of EIT and high resolution of ultrasonic imaging. At present, image reconstruction algorithm of MAT mainly include filter back projection algorithm and reconstruction algorithm based on potential function. Although these traditional algorithm avoid the diffraction effect of sound waves, but they all have a common shortcomings, the target sample must be scanned for a circle to achieve accurate imaging. It takes a long time to achieve real-time imaging. The research of microscopic tomography technique based on the difference of electrical characteristics is vital for the study of micro structure of organizations and material. A new magnetic acoustic tomography based on acoustic lens was proposed in this paper. We carried out an in-depth study of the theory of excitation and detection through theoretical and experimental methods. The new reconstruction algorithm was deduced and confirmed the new method could improve the imaging speed. The new method inherits the merit of high resolution, high sensitivity, and fast imaging speed. The new method could form a new functional imaging technology are urgently needed in the scientific research of animals.
