Annealing effect of sputtered crystalline M0O3 films on hole transporting in inverted type perovskite solar cells

In this study, CH
₃
NH
₃
PbI
₃
(MAPbI3) perovskite solar cells on a sputtered crystalline MoO
₃
films with an annealing treatment were investigated. The structure, optical, and electronic behaviors of the perovskite solar cells are affected by annealing temperature and changing thickness of the sputtered MoO
₃
hole transporting films. The experimental results indicate that the crystalline MoO
₃
film is a more proper hole transporting layer than the amorphous MoO
₃
film for inverted planar perovskite solar cells. The crystalline MoO
₃
film may be more feasible than the amorphous MoO
₃
film for the perovskite photovoltaic devices. The MoO
₃
film as hole transporting layers may be feasible for the low cost and air stable application in the perovskite photovoltaic devices.
