Influence of ray-tracing step on aero-optics imaging deviation computation

Ray tracing is required in aero-optical imaging deviation computation, and the tracing step size is an influencing factor. In this paper, the Runge-Kutta method is used to complete the tracing. During the tracing process, the quadrilateral mesh interpolation is used. Based on the typical velocity Mach number 3 and attack angle 0 degree, the influence of tracing step size on imaging deviation is analyzed, and a series of typical data about different line-of-sight angles for different height are given. The results show that the smaller the step size is, the higher the ray-tracing accuracy well be, and a smaller step will cause an increase in tracing computations.
