Improving the quality of text summarization using pronoun replacement technique

Automatic text summarization is the process of condensing data in a particular document to a shorter form using a computer program. Due to the abundant amount of data existing in today's world, there is a need to summarize the data into shorter smaller amount for the vivid purposes. This process is done by the program using a technique called word frequency technique, which condenses the data based on the frequency of the words in the document. The paper proposes an improvisation to the technique by replacing pronouns with proper nouns and then considers frequency of words. As most significant words occur more frequently in a document, by replacing pronouns and then finding frequency leads to improving summary, which is demonstrated with experimental results.
