CNTFET based multiplexers and magnitude comparator

This paper deals with recent researched CNTFET based digital circuits with better performance as a possible replacement of current CMOS digital logic circuits. In this paper standard CNTFET 32nm HSPICE model based full custom 4:1 Multiplexer, 1:4 Demultiplexer and 2-bit Magnitude Comparator were designed and compared with PTM CMOS 32nm HSPICE model designed full custom 4:1 Multiplexer, 1:4 Demultiplexer and 2-bit Magnitude Comparator in terms of power delay product. From the simulated results and analysis, it is found that CNTFET based 4:1 Multiplexer, 1:4 Demultiplexer and 2-bit Magnitude Comparator have 92%, 82% and 93% less PDP in comparison with PTM CMOS based 4:1 Multiplexer, 1:4 Demultiplexer and 2-bit Magnitude Comparator respectively.
