Fast Physics on the Web Using C++, JavaScript, and Emscripten

The web is now capable of running computationally intensive code at near-native speed, enabling new types of content such as physics simulations to be easily shared online. In this article, the author shows how to do just that by writing code in C++ and compiling it to the web with the open-source Emscripten tool, which generates asm.js, a fast subset of JavaScript that runs in all web browsers.
