Development of Pulse Mode Driver for Adjustable Vibration Source for Investigation of Haptic Feedbacks

This paper deals with the problem of usage of haptic feedbacks which are used, for example, in prosthetics, for different patient groups. It is known, that every persons tactile sense is different, and therefore, if any information has to be sent suing haptic feedback, it should be examined, whether the signal sent to a person is clear and can be recognized in any condition, or not. Moreover, patient condition is also important - for example, if a person, who is using prosthetic hand has phantom pains, then, perhaps, more complicated ways of haptic feedback usage are required. An example of haptic feedback - linear vibration actuator and its control method is presented in this paper. As the actuators like this have low resistance, it was necessary to use H transistor bridge, where MOS transistors with low working voltage were used.
