The electromagnetic simulation software package MAFIA 4

MAFIA 4 is a general purpose electromagnetic simulation software package, which has found wide application in various research and industrial institutions. The program is based on the finite integration theory and covers all main aspects of this grid-based discrete electromagnetic field theory. New developments for MAFIA 4 are the TL3 code module for simulation of transient magnetoquasistatic fields including effects of nonlinear material and eddy currents induced by moving conductors and the module H3 for coupled transient thermal and electromagnetic field simulation. The FDTD code-module T3 now features gyrotropic materials using a state space formulation and perfectly matched layer boundary conditions. The postprocessor of the package is enhanced with a comfortable VRMIL 2.0 visualization facility.
