Cancer survivability with logistic regression

In this paper, we report on our experiments with SEER data and the problem of five-year survivability prediction using logistic regression. This work provides a detailed process for data cleaning and binary classification of 338,596 breast cancer patients. We achieve a high level of precision and recall for automatic binary classification of this data with logistic regression. This paper also gives a detailed analysis of our statistical test of significance for feature selection.
