A novel method of detecting and analyzing electromagnetic emission

A novel method on detecting and analyzing electromagnetic emission components is proposed by this paper. Beginning with the electromagnetic spectrum data, the paper analyzes the damped oscillation component, the harmonic component, and the sinusoidal component gradually. The method to extract these components can be designed to a software tool. With the tool, the hidden electromagnetic emission components can be extracted automatically. The comparison between the quantitative parameters and the actual parameters of equipments can be used to diagnose and locate the causes of over standard. It is important for analyzing and designing electromagnetic compatibility of systems or equipments.
