Continuous health surveillance system for cattle

Primary technique of animal health monitoringrevolves around person's visual surveillance, which reduces quality of monitoring health of cattle's. In order to accomplish early detection of each individual animal's disease, in this project a wireless sensor network system(WSN) compromising of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Zig-bee module and auxiliary sensor's to monitor the animal's feeding behaviour, drinking behaviour, lameness, heart beat and body temperature. This will ensure continuous monitoring of cattle and help in prevention of health related diseases of the cattle's and increases effectiveness of other attributes of animal husbandry like milk production, reduces treatment cost, reduce labor cost etc.
