Discrete approximations of continuous-time high-order system using Z- and delta transform

This paper investigates the model order reduction of the continuous-time high-order system using Skogestad “half rule” method and obtaining the discrete-time models in zand delta domain. The proposed approach is illustrating by the simulation example of a non-minimum phase highorder system. Some discretization effects at different sampling rates are analyzed.
