Analysis of the possibility of implementing a high density backhaul system in the E-band

Number of mobile users, therefore need of mobile operators to increase capacity of backhaul system, is constantly increasing. E-band is particularly interesting for backhaul due to favorable propagation characteristics, bandwidth, use of highly directional small diameter antennas with high gain, which ensures transmission of large amounts of data. In this paper characteristics of E-band were considered, simulation of real network was performed and conclusions on possibility of using this band for 4G/5G backhaul were made.
