Radio-frequency spectrum management in wireless IoT networks

An overview of the key challenges regarding radiofrequency (RF) spectrum management for wireless IoT (Intenet of Things) networks, an overview of the characteristics of wireless IoT technologies and analysis of traditional and innovative RF spectrum allocation and usage models for IoT networks are given in this paper. Based on analysis done appropriate recommendations for national regulators who are responsible for RF spectrum management are given regarding to regulatory framework for fulfillment of raising requirements for connection of IoT devices in various scenarios of their usage.
