Electromagnetic multiparameter converter for control of the structure of metal products

In the work the questions of the construction of multiparameter electromagnetic converter with spatially periodic fields is considered. The construction of electromagnetic converter with one pole to highlight certain dominant spatial harmonics is given. The schematic diagram of switching of converter that implements the three parameters method for controlling product parameters is presented. The conclusion about the possibility of using electromagnetic converters with spatially periodic fields for multiparameter measurements is made. Proposed method could be used for the control of long-length metal products (pipelines, cables, shafts, etc.) when there is no access to the surface ends of the product and the ability to apply highly sensitive pass-through electromagnetic converters.
