Comparison of triangular geometries of Y-junction in co-sintered LTCC based microstrip circulator

This paper aims at comparison of transmission characteristics of circulator with triangular ferrite geometry to that of previously reported ferrite disk geometry. Co-sintering of commercially available Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) dielectric tapes with pre-sintered ferrite tapes has been undertaken towards fabrication of Y-junction microstrip circulator using triangular and circular geometry. A number of samples have been fabricated to ascertain variation in transmission characteristics.
