Optimal operation and location of heat pumps in the integrated energy systems

Nowadays, renewable energy source has widely penetrated into power system. In order to satisfy the different kinds of demands such as heat and electricity in city region, an Integrated Energy System (IES) is supposed to be established. In this paper, an operation model for Heat pump (HP) and combined heat and power (CHP) based integrated electrical and heating system is fully analyzed. This model aims to get the minimum loss including the heat loss and power loss by transforming satisfied electricity to heat. Meanwhile, the optimization method for heat pump installation location selection is also provided. An IES with 11 electrical buses and 11 heating nodes are chosen to study the specific optimized problems. 2 typical different kinds of wind power are chosen as study case. Through the simulation results, the effectiveness of the proposed optimization method is verified.
