System dynamics modeling and simulation for global energy-economy-politics system

Global energy interconnection is the future platform for global energy allocation. An accurate description of macroscopic properties conduces to provide decision-making basis for the construction and planning of interconnection. Affected by a variety of factors, the energy problem is also an economy problem and a politics problem. Therefore, the relationships among energy system, economy system and politics system can be used to describe the macroscopic properties of global energy interconnection. Grasp and extract key factors in the systems to characterize system features. Through qualitative analysis, the causal relationships among key factors are determined. The quantitative analysis further indicates that most relationships are non-linear. A dynamic analysis model based on system dynamics is established. The model is multi-variable and non-linear. Based on the dynamic analysis model, the morphological evolution of systems is given over time to describe macroscopic properties of interconnection. The validity and rationality of the model are proved by simulation analysis.
