Performance evaluation of a nine level cascaded multilevel inverter with single DC source for photovoltaic system

This paper introduces a Three-phase nine-level Cascaded H Bridge Multilevel inverter with single DC source for Photovoltaic System. The input parameters are the voltage, current and the duty cycle D are utilized to produce the ideal MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) under various working conditions, The photovoltaic system simulated and build by photovoltaic arrays, a DC/DC buck converter, a sliding mode MPPT control. The significant confinements of the cascade multilevel converters is required of isolated dc voltage sources for each H-bridge, this builds the converter cost and reduces the dependability of the system. The present paper explores different cascade multilevel inverter (CMI) based topologies with reduced dc sources lastly by drawing in low frequency transformers, the CHBMI with single dc source is controlled by Phase Disposition-Pulse Width Modulation Technique (PD-PWM) and analyzing the Total harmonic distortion with different voltage levels.
