Effective Data Quality Diagnostic Schema for Big Data

Big Data environment is a computing area with a great growth. Today it is common that we hear about databases with huge volumes of information and also we hear about Data Mining and Business Intelligence projects related with these huge databases. However, in general, little attention has been given to the quality of the data. Here we propose and present innovative metrics and schema designed to perform a basic task related to the Data Quality issue, this is, the diagnostic. The preliminary results that we obtained when we apply our approaches to Big Data encourage us to continue this work.
