Stabilization of coherent dual optical frequency comb for fiber Bragg Grating sensing

In this paper we propose a practical way to stabilize a Dual Optical Frequency Comb Generator in terms of the relative phase between two coherent combs through varying the optical path length. This has a lot of potential to increase the precision of the amount of power concentrated on each mode of the aforementioned multi-mode source. Thus, it leads to a more precise RF mapping of the optical spectra as well as an improved behavior in the optical domain in relation with the optical phase. This can be used to perform direct readout of Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensors.
