Analysis of completely fair scheduler enabled frequency scaling

Portable Devices are being widely used in last few decades. The boundary between software and high-end Portable Devices have almost disappeared. The portable devices should adapt to different applications requirements such as multimedia, games, video and audio applications and the more common internet browsing. For modern mobile systems, the software complexity and CPU frequencies are increasing day by day which demands a high energy. The experiences of the user are therefore greatly affected by the battery lifetime which is an unstable factor. The user experiences can be enhanced by reducing the response time of the application. This paper modifies the Linux kernel be adding the scheduler enabled DVFS governor.
