One-cycle-controlled high gain single stage Buck-Boost inverter for photovoltaic application

A single stage high gain Buck-Boost inverter (BBI) for photovoltaic application is proposed in this paper. The proposed topology is with simple circuit and low switch count. The three-winding tapped inductor is applied to attain high gain feature. One-cycle control (OCC) is adopted to obtain superior source ripple rejection. The paper presents the detail operation principle of the proposed topology, and the derivation of the OCC control law. The proposed topology and the control scheme are verified by simulation.
