Prediction of daily traffic volumes by using autoregressive models

The Chiba Police Headquarters Traffic Control Center has accumulated traffic information such as traffic flows, time occupancy, and travel times. In this paper we attempt to predict the average daily traffic volumes by employing autoregressive models to upgrade the functions of traffic control.
