Confidentiality technique to obfuscate the numerical data to enhance security in public cloud storage

In recent times, cloud computing has become a boon for data storage in information technology. In parallel, data storage also undergoes major issues in confidentiality. Lot of techniques are in use for ensuring confidentiality of data. The available techniques are not in a position to fully protect data. And here comes the obfuscation techniques to handle the malicious hackers. These obfuscation techniques are used for encryption of numerical data prior to uploading into storage. Proposed technique is to encrypt the numerical data by an obfuscation technique on cloud and to provide protection from malicious intruders. The outcome of the simulation proves to be good for minimum time taken by obfuscation, high ratio in confidentiality and security when compared with existing obfuscation techniques.
