A Design and Research of Digital Operation Support Framework for Civil Aircrafts

Based on advanced information technology, various applications, including data analyzing, knowledge correlating, intelligent auxiliary tools and predictive software, would be provided by digital operation support for civil aircrafts. With the enhancements of information collection, transmission and utilization, digital operation support will continuously improve the safety, reliability, economy and environmental protection of civil aircrafts. Digital operation support has become the major technical approach and business model in civil aviation industry, and it will take a dominant role in the futuristic customer services of civil aircrafts. In this paper, a general framework design of the digital operation support systems for civil aircrafts is proposed. The framework utilizes the cloud-computing based infrastructure and adopts the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Software components can be reused among different function modules thus the deployment speed of the digital support system can be facilitated. The operation support system can support multiple ways of accesses, such accesses from computer clients, web portals and mobile Apps.
