Research on marine radar oil spill network monitoring technology

Marine radar can be applied to detect oil spill targets in a large range, which cannot be affected by night, cloudy, rain, snow and other inclement weather. It has played an important role in the field of oil spill monitoring. Moreover, marine radar has the advantages of low cost and convenient installation, which is suitable for constructing marine oil spill network monitoring system. Taking marine radar image data monitored in 7.16 oil spill event in Dalian, China, based on shore wireless network station, marine radar oil spill monitoring integrated system is established among ships, offshore platforms and onshore oil spill monitoring command center. The oil spill monitoring network has been installed on Sinopec offshore oil platforms, and the operation effect is good.
