Concept of automated energy distribution system based on the flow model for microgrids control

The main trend to introducing controllable distributed generators, energy storages, modem switching equipment to the distribution grids of 0.4-35 kV and also development of energy metering systems is becoming more stable and aimed mainly at increasing the reliability of the consumer's power supply systems and partial increasing the efficiency of operating the energy exchange participants. The possibilities of using this equipment within increasing the efficiency of the grid agents and microgrids can be significantly extended by means of using the developed mathematical model of linking economic and technical parameters of the equipment operating. Operating of such a model within automated energy distribution system should be carried out with an orientation to AMR and AMI measuring systems and existing mechanisms of the retail energy market. This paper proposes an algorithm concept of microgrid control system for optimization of active consumers' operating mode. The control system is based on dynamic electricity pricing depending on technical constraints, fuel cost and external energy tariff. The stages of operating mode optimization for various energy exchange participants are shown in a test distribution grid used as an example.
