Research of carbon coating on optical fiber sensor

The research on long-term stability of optical fiber sensor has drawn more and more attention in recent years, especially due to corrosion and hydrogen loss in harsh environment, while carbon plating on the surface of optical fiber sensor is proven to be an effective way to enhance the performance of optic-fiber sensor. Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) were introduced and a device for depositing carbon film on optical fiber sensor utilizing CVD was presented in this paper.
