Assessment of the possibility to model a Toe Dam hydropower plant using dedicated software

The paper presents a case study, testing the Vapidro-Aste software for an existing small hydropower plant built at the bottom of a dam, and performs a comparative analysis between the current situation and the simulated one, taking into consideration the ecological flow for the protection of the aquatic ecosystems.
