Special situations regarding the transition of district heating systems. Technical and economic analysis regarding the use of different technologies in transition sources

The purpose of this paper is to carry out a comparative analysis between different sources of producing heat in a district heating system that can be used in a transition period from a technically obsolete source to a state-of-the-art source. What is being analyzed is the impact of the technology on the mode of operation and the degree of integration in the new source.
