Automated control and monitoring of cinerator using embedded and LabVIEW

The proposed system is based on the automation of boiler in paper manufacturing industry. In paper mills, the parameters of the boiler should be maintained constant for manufacturing paper from wood pulp and other raw materials. The high pressure cinerator, that are afford with enhanced heat transfer areas for its rated duty require some of the unique operating parameters to be controlled closely to maintain a steady output. The present system of monitoring and controlling boilers is carried out manually. This may result in less efficiency. So the important parameters like temperature, pressure and water level in the boiler should be monitored continuously for an effective operation. LabVIEW is used for monitoring and PIC microcontroller is used for controlling the parameters of the boiler.
