Platform for unified enhanced time Petri Net models

Unified Enhanced Time Petri Nets (UETPNs) are a new type of modeling platform conceived to control cyber-physical systems. They combine the features of regular Petri-nets and timed Petri-nets, describing fuzzy logic rules and arithmetical operators. They are capable of reacting or generating asynchronous events and continuous signals. In order to make the definition of UETPN models convenient, a domain-specific language called UnifiedPLang was developed. The use of the UETPN models and UnifiedPLang is exemplified with an on/off controller. The execution algorithm of UETPN models is described with emphasis on speed improvements measured by various benchmark problems.
