Developing of a SCADA System for a Water Multi-Heating System

A water multi-heating system including solar, heat pump and gas heating was introduced to heat water in an energy-saving way. Then the SCADA system for it was presented in detail. First, the design scheme for the main peripheral circuits of the microcontroller and GUI were introduced. Secondly, the control strategy, aiming at reducing the cost of the heating system, was then proposed and implemented based on the prediction of the uptrend of water temperature by solar heating. To solve the uncertainty of the rising trend of water temperature by solar heating, three basic standard curves of different meteorological conditions were obtained based on a massive number of data observed and acted as references to predict the uprising of the water temperature in a specific day. Experimental results show the feasibility and accuracy of the design scheme in this paper.
