Abstract:
MIL-STD-188-125-1 provides protection and test requirements to build a shielded building against the threat of High-altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) produced by a nuclear detonation in the upper atmosphere. Over the years it has become apparent that improvements are needed in the standard.
