A Seal of Approval: Rothman Put to the Test at Good Housekeeping Labs

It was a sunny day in July 2017 when the team at the Good Housekeeping Institute in New York City was performing the testing of toys. The lab was covered in stuffed animals, remote-controlled gadgets, and other fun new products that the team would evaluate for a variety of criteria before bringing in children to do the real "testing." And while Rachel Rothman's job as chief technologist overseeing all six of Good Housekeeping magazine's labs' testing might sound like a dream, she describes it as something more like "kismet," since a role like this was beyond what she ever imagined.
