Active vibration control of drum type of washing machine using linear oscillatory actuator

This paper proposes an evaluation method of vibration reduction for a linear oscillatory actuator using a fundamental frequency force. We have evaluated vibration reduction by the actuator through an experiment, but we did not evaluate it. Therefore we analyzed the frequency of the vibration waveform, and evaluated the vibration reduction of the first harmonic of the vibration waveform. As a result, the vibration reduction rate could be accurately evaluated. We analyzed the measured result, and we verified the effectiveness of active vibration control by the actuator.
