Design constraints and implement of high-speed and multi-channel pulse acquisition synchronization

In order to ensure the data synchronization between different channels of the same pulse (the first synchronization) and the data synchronization between different pulses of the same channel (the second synchronization) in the pulse acquisition, two design constraints were proposed to ensure the two synchronization. The design constraint of the first synchronized was proposed by hardware structure analysis and the design constraint of the second synchronized was proposed by signal logic simulation. Due to the limitation of the design constrain of the second synchronization on the signal frequency relations, methods were proposed to ensure the second synchronization by SYNC reset signal control in the case of periodic pulse and non-periodic pulse respectively. SYNC reset signal was used to control the start of the pulse acquisition so that the data phases between pulses were the same and the second synchronization was ensured. Through the point-frequency signal test, the synchronization deviation of periodic pulse is 5ps and the synchronization deviation of non-periodic pulse is 8ps. These methods which overcome the limitation of the design constraint of the second synchronization, have practical value, and are more flexible as well.
