Study on the optimal attack position of antisubmarine helicopter in flight pickle

To obtain the optimal attack position of antisubmarine helicopter in flight pickle, models to calculate airdrop parameters and torpedo's acquisition probability were built on the basis of analysis of flight pickle's attack process. Then simulations were made to analyze the effects of initial relative bearing and initial distance on torpedo's acquisition probability by using Monte Carlo method. The simulation results show that the optimal attack position has great reference significance to antisubmarine helicopter in flight pickle.
