Feasibility study of modernization and improvement of asynchronous engines energy efficiency during their overhaul

The work is devoted to the technology of overhaul of asynchronous engines with the increase of their energy efficiency class. In this work, we describe simplified technological schemes of the traditional overhaul and the repair of the energy efficiency improvement of asynchronous engines. We got mathematical relations of the labor and material costs calculation for the performance of the technological operations relating to the overhaul and modernization of asynchronous engines. In the work, we give the substantiation of technical and economic feasibility of asynchronous engines overhaul with the improvement of their energy efficiency class. This paper proposes an algorithm and a computer program that calculates the costs of labor and material resources for the overhaul and repair of the energy efficiency improvement. It is shown that the overhaul with upgrading of the energy efficiency of asynchronous engines allows reduction of active power and electric energy losses in the technological plot power system up to 3-7%. Modeling of the costs for the modernization of asynchronous engines and traditional overhaul showed that additional costs for modernization of the improvement of energy efficiency class are repaid in 0.4-0.8 years with energy savings. The results of the research are recommended to the specialists in electric machines repair and energy saving enterprises.
