Remote sensing, spectral brightness and heuristic criterion for class recognition

We present an efficient heuristic algorithm for the recognition of a given class of objects by results of multispectral measurements (spectral brightness signals) and the available spectral and statistical characteristics of reference classes. The problem is reduced to finding probability densities of given (reference) classes and mean values of the spectral brightness of the recognizable class.
