Dual band reconfigurable plasmonic antenna using bilayer graphene

In this paper, we have proposed a dual-band reconfigurable terahertz bilayer graphene plasmonic antenna over SiO₂/Si substrate. The reconfiguration of antenna is achieved by dynamically controlling the conductivity of upper and lower layer graphene using electric field effect. The proposed antenna provides remarkable performance in terms of dual-band, frequency reconfiguration, and stable impedance upon reconfiguration. The proposed antenna has the potential to be used for THz sensing and communication.
