A compact and broadband CPW-fed folded-slot antenna for c-band application

This paper proposes a compact and broadband CPW-fed antenna with FR4 substrate. The Y-shaped monopole radiation element and the unequal arms were used to broaden the antenna bandwidth and compress the antenna structure. The simulated and measured results are presented, showing that a satisfactory performance is achieved. The effects of different unequal arms on the antenna performances are discussed as well.
