Design of Slender Reinforced Concrete Columns of Annular Cross-Section According to the Nominal Curvature Method and the Exact Method

This article describes the exact method of numerical calculation of second order effects of slender reinforced concrete columns of annular cross-section. The results of the calculations obtained using the exact method were compared with the results calculated according to the nominal curvature method. Second order effects according to the exact method are not greater than the ones calculated according to the nominal curvature method.
