Study on the effect of terahertz electrical field on the KcsA membrane protein system

Terahertz technology shows great potential in the field of biology and medicine. In order to study the impact of terahertz electrical field on the KcsA membrane protein system at the molecular level, we perform molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to simulate this process. Two kinds of waveforms are chosen, sine wave and square wave. The frequencies are respectively 0.5T, 1T, 2T and 3T. We compare that whether the electroporation can happen in case of the two waveforms at the same frequency.
