Electromagnetic modelling strategies for EMC analysis of automotive traction batteries

Effective prediction of the RF impedance properties of two cells in series has been achieved using a hybrid simulation approach based on measured cell properties. This has enabled simple and efficient 3D simulation models to be investigated at a more practical industrial scale, illustrated in this paper using a representative module of an automotive traction battery.
