Integrated potentiostat for detection of Chagas disease

The design of a low power integrated potentiostat that measures electric current, intended for a Chagas disease detection application is presented. The circuit was designed using 0.6μm XC06 technology from XFAB [1]. This circuit can generate and measure currents from 1 to 10μA with a relative error under 1%. The remaining part of the circuit consumes only 1.5μA. The total silicon area is 0.24 mm
²
(without pads).
