Low cost solution for reducing the effect of mobile radiations

A massive increase in the mobile phone usage has led to many Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) being setup in residential areas, near schools and hospitals for effective communication. The long-term exposure to these mobile radiations leads to many health hazards. Reducing the effect of mobile radiations on human life is a major concern. This paper proposes a low-cost method to reduce the mobile radiation without affecting the effective mobile communication and provides the details of the various experiments performed to validate it. Various measuring systems were used to measure the transmission loss of shielding material placed between two mobile phone transceivers.
