An ultra-wide bandwidth absorber based on tightly coupled array

This paper designs an ultra-broadband absorber based on tightly coupled array (TCA), whose reflectance coefficient is expected to be below -10dB from 2.43GHz to 16.65GHz theoretically. It is found that the TCA absorbers are ultra-wideband, low-cost, low-profile, and conformable. The results of theory and simulation are given.
